Crafting magical worlds and unforgettable characters
From first draft to published author
Started writing Winters' War during a particularly challenging time. The story of Crystal Winters became my escape and my anchor.
Completed the first draft and began the long process of revision. Learned that writing is rewriting, and every word matters.
Winters' War was published, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my life as a published author.
Finished the second book in the Spirit Caster series and planning future projects that will expand the magical universe.
How I bring magical worlds to life
Every story begins with a spark—a character, a situation, or a question that won't let go. I collect these moments in notes and let them simmer.
Characters drive the story. I spend time understanding their motivations, fears, and growth arcs before putting pen to paper.
The messy, beautiful process of getting the story down. I write quickly, focusing on getting the bones of the story on the page.
This is where the magic happens. I revise for plot, character development, pacing, and voice. Multiple drafts are essential.
Sharing the story with readers is both terrifying and exhilarating. Every reader brings something new to the story.
